  1. The point is that it's not a matter of my preference versus yours, but of Wikipedia style (did you check the link I left above?): "The subject of the article should be mentioned in bold text (subject) at a natural place in the first sentence, or at least the first paragraph." In this case, you want to leave the mention in bold text until further into the article, after it's been mentioned unbolded in the first sentence. (Moreover, in order for the reader to know what the article is about, a clear first sentence giving the nature and context of the subject is important. The reader shouldn't have to read half the article before realising that this thing is a bit of equipment in a fictional universe. Remember that it's an encyclopædia article.
  2. Alway remember to 'sign' your messages with four tildes (~~~~, so that other users don't have to go into their Talk page history in order to reply to you.
