Clever, but that usually goes on the IP address's talk page, not its user page. —No-One Jones (m) 12:59, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)

See Fall of Communism. And please sign your comments on talk pages with ~~~~. Thanks, Solitude\talk 12:50, Nov 9, 2004 (UTC)

Please note that Communism is a heavily disputed page on WP and should not be used as a primary source. If you can offer external sources that claim the fall of the Wall did not end communism but stalinism, we can change it to your version. As far as I can see, credible source point to communism. -- Solitude\talk 13:06, Nov 9, 2004 (UTC)
Yes I know, there are sources that point to Stalinism, but they are far less in number and most seem to be coming from a socialist POV. -- Solitude\talk 13:22, Nov 9, 2004 (UTC)
I do have a bias against Communism as noted on my user page (check history as there is a memorial page atm). I did however not mean any offense, please do not take any, and I sure do not let my bias influence my editing. As I have said, I have checked sources, and the consensus seems to be that the fall did end communism in one way or another. It is hard to adhere to strict NPOV in the anniversaries as there is no room to light each subject from ALL major sides, which is required to have 100% NPOV. -- Solitude\talk 15:13, Nov 9, 2004 (UTC)
By the way, the fact that I've put democracy and communism on one line does not imply that I see them as strict opposites, just related. -- Solitude\talk 15:23, Nov 9, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] November 9

If you're still around and interested, I've come up with what might be a better wording for the Berlin Wall anniversary. [1] Dbiv 21:09, 26 Mar 2005 (UTC)
