If you want to help with these kinds of maintenance activities, I recommend that you create a user account, establish a pattern of edits and credibility with the community and eventually seek adminship. It would be helpful if you got an account and entered the discussion on the vfd. To my knowledge their is no rule that states that after 5 days the discussion is closed. I have been on several ones that have lasted for weeks. Also, keep in mind a decison is based upon how many votes are collected but what the consensus is. As of now their is none. Please come to the vfd and make a comment on the why the article is encyclopediac that will help your vfd cause. Please don't change the infobox, photographs, etc. if you don't want to "lose content" in their being reverted. Nobody is trying to remove content here, but the nature of these changes makes it pretty hard not to when you intersperse them with genuine additions to content. I've taken the time twice now to go through and re-add, sentence by sentence, everything you did that didn't involve picture changing. You're removing the article's main picture because you won't wait for a consensus about whether or not an infobox should be there. That's vandalism in my book, either that or it is just childish. I'm removing the picture from the intro because the intro doesn't need one. The picture is better located in the place it is. There should be a infobox in the biography; that's whyh there are infoboxes. It's not vandalism to move the pic to a better place. -Anon

It's vandalism to remove the intro picture just because you aren't getting your way. The vast majority of biography pages here don't have infoboxes, they are not official policy, it is generally a page-by-page issue. You are being highly disruptive, you are not helping the page develop, because it will likely be reverted back to a non-vandalized state before the day it out. Then someone will have to go back through and add all of the little lines you are putting in there if they don't want to "remove content". Removing "contents disputed" tags before there is consensus among the article editors to remove them does count as Wikipedia:Vandalism, and can get you blocked - repeated violations can incur blocks of up to one month. Similarly, Wikipedia style is that an article about "Joe Smith" is the biography of Joe Smith, and merging the two is completely appropriate.
