[edit] Contact info
- This IP did a bunch of problem edits after the block on the 25, 26, and 29th of August 2005 (Thursday, Friday, and Monday). Unfortunately, this IP is for the Los Angeles Unified School District, so it shouldn't be blocked permanently. Since the problematic has been using the same IP, however, it probably is associated with a single school. If problems continue, it may be appropriate to contact the school district.

- I have reason to believe that the problem editor is also using the user name ronald20 (talk • contribs), and through that user name I have a good idea of the real name of the user. BlankVerse ∅ 15:14, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] This is a school IP
- This IP address is for Venice High School (Los Angeles). (I am a student there elsewhere under the name theshibboleth.) Didn't have anything in particular to say, but that this is a school might help other editors understand why so much vandalism emanates from it.
-
- This IP address is from a computer in an office of Hollywood High School. I'm not sure how this used to be an IP address for Venice High School (Los Angeles), but I'm not allowed to edit anything using this computer, even if I'm logged into my account. I'm a student here, and I can understand that many others decide to vandalize.--204.108.96.10 23:23, 13 December 2005 (UTC)

- This is the same user from a few days ago. I noticed that this IP address is shared among many different computers throughout Hollywood High School.--204.108.96.10 23:02, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

- I believe that this IP is used by multiple schools throughout LAUSD. I know for a fact that this is used for Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies. I believe that it is used by all of LAUSD so that they can monitor all communique. 204.108.88.12 17:52, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not vandalise Wikipedia
[edit] October 2004
Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks.
Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Postdlf 20:38, 22 Oct 2004 (UTC)
[edit] November 2004
I have verified that the edits from Oct 14 to Nov 29 have been successfully reverted (where necessary). If someone wants to check on the others, that would be cool. Also, this user possibly also uses IP 204.108.80.10 [1]. -- Phyzome is Tim McCormack 22:09, 2004 Nov 29 (UTC)

Adding nonsense to articles is considered vandalism. I see you've been warned before. Articles are watched for content and changes; bad changes are quickly removed. If you wish to experiment, please use the sandbox. Or, spend your time and energy to improve articles, rather than to make them worse. — Knowledge Seeker দ 23:05, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)

While your subtle wit at suggesting that the "G" in G-Unit stands for "Gay" is truly astounding, it is considered vandalism. Please stop and use the sandbox for experiments. Thanks, BanyanTree 20:48, 4 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] KABC and WABC logos
I noticed that you were editing the relevant pages to indicate that KABC has switched to the WABC version of the "cirlce 7" logo. This is not true as you clearly see from the current video clips on the KABC web site. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 17:17, 25 May 2005 (UTC)

Please don't put your new kind of stub in, where no stubs were before! (Example WCBS-FM.) Wasted Time R 17:58, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- To follow up, what exactly is your definition of stub? What can a broadcast article be so that it does not qualify as a stub? By your definition, I'm sure that if you were doing the same thing to baseball articles, Babe Ruth and Barry Bonds would both be stubs. ErikNY 14:50, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Linuxbeak | Talk | Desk 21:59, Jun 15, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] adding {{US-bcast-stub}}
Please pay attention when you add stubs to articles that do not look like stubs such as WPVI-TV and WCAU-TV. Just convert the articles tagged as {{station-stub}}to {{US-bcast-stub}}. Thanks. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 17:21, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Please stop adding {{US-bcast-stub}} to articles that are long enough that they do not need to be tagged as a stub. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 17:33, 16 Jun 2005 (UTC)
This user continues to vandalize Dodge, Template:DaimlerChrysler, and Pontiac, but strangely added useful information to list of automobile manufacturers. Please stop vandalizing those articles - even if you fervently believe that those brands will be discontinued in 2010 and 2011, it is simply not a fact and should not be included in an encyclopedia article. --SFoskett 20:31, Jun 17, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] San Diego/Tijuana TV substubs
Hi. Please tell me that you plan on adding more to this rash of articles beyond the barest minimum fact. Someone who wishes to research these stations already knows that they're San Diego-based Televisa affliates, translators, etc. Given some previous comments left on this page, it would behoove you to expand these. Take away the taxoboxes and you're left with nothing but single sentences, usually grounds for speedy deletion. Please take a bit of time and effort to research these subjects before adding something as near-useless as these. Pardon me for coming off harsh, but it seems you have a rather colorful history of much the same behavior. - Lucky 6.9 15:30, 23 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] July 2005
- Please stop adding auto-stub to all auto articles. You have been warned about this in the past and blocked. Why persist in doing this? --SFoskett 14:58, July 21, 2005 (UTC)

Blocked for 24 hours for serial vandalism. Apologies if there is collateral damage, but I should rather see some evidence of punishing the innocent than to any longer fail to punish the guilty. Geogre 22:48, 19 October 2005 (UTC)

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia! Doc (?) 21:34, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. Hall Monitor 18:07, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked for vandalism - 10th block
You have been blocked for 4 months for continuing to blatantly vandalise Wikipedia despite repeated requests not to. Please note that this is now your tenth block, [2] and any further acts of vandalism will consequently result in a significantly longer ban. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to resume editing after the block expires. Until then, you shall be able to read Wikipedia articles, but not write page changes. Should you have any questions regarding this restriction of editing privileges, please do not hesitate to have your school or district system administrator contact me directly. Best regards, Hall Monitor 18:21, 30 November 2005 (UTC)
