School IP address Attention:

This IP address, 204.108.72.26, is registered to Los Angeles Unified School District and may be shared by multiple users of an educational institution. In the case of institutions using proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism, in which case please read our advice on this situation.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block with the template {{schoolblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of persistent vandalism, anonymous editing from this IP address may be disabled for up to 6 months at a time while abuse reports may be forwarded to your school administration for investigation in case of long-term abuse by registered users.

I'm back again. I just read some of your other comments and found out you blocked IP address 204.108.72.26 because it was at a school. I'm letting you know that it is a very important office computer you blocked. I'm saying you don't need to unblock it, but it would be good to. Signed, --Cricket Boy 19:47, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

Reply. If it's an office computer then I'm not unblocking until further action is taken so no more vandalism comes from that computer. Here's the relevant log, most of those happening by afternoon (2-5 pm):

  • 19 April: all of them petty vandalism
  • 18 April: removing large amounts of text from articles
  • 17 april: more sophomoric vandalism
  • 14 April: altering aritcle's content
  • 13 April: disrupting "history of science" article (maybe related to some class?) and altering other articles.
  • 10 april: obscenities

and that is only past week, I don't think I need to continue going further past. So no, this IP remains blocked, and I'd request any admin wanting to unblock this first to discuss it with me. -- ( drini's page ) 21:44, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

  • Also why is an important office computer being used to edit wikipedia? Blocking editing seems sensible it doesn't affect the computer doing it's normal important work. --pgk(talk) 12:36, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] External links

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added to the page The Legend of Zelda (series) do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. There are fanfics to pretty much anything on fanfiction.net and it is by far not the only place to hold Legend of Zelda fanfics. JackSparrow Ninja 17:51, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
