[edit] Avengers (comics)

Thank you for attempts to summarize Avengers (comics), however WP:Lead requires the lead of an article to encapsulate the article; so that it could stand on its own as an overview of the subject. The one sentence lead does not accomplish that. - RoyBoy 800 10:14, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Galactus

I suggest you start a discussion explaining your edits. You've been reverted by two different editors now, always a sign that there's something to resolve. CovenantD 08:12, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Wonder Man. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. K.Z Talk Vandal Contrib 00:24, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] No personal attacks

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. CovenantD 00:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Guardians of the Galaxy

Hello. Why did you remove the Earth-691 template from Guardians of the Galaxy? -- StAkAr Karnak 14:49, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] OHOTMU info

Well, as near as I can figure it, and I might be oversimplifying it, is that Wikipedia administration considers the OHOTMU to be a rival encyclopedic publication. All of the information used to comprise the articles has been gathered from various regular monthly comic books, industry magazine articles. Now, the OHOTMU, I believe, can be cited as a source provided that there is info from regular comic book issues to back up things that it says. However, copying statements word for word out of the OHOTMU could be construed as copyright violation by Marvel Comics. That goes especially for using OHOTMU stats, you know the power ratings scale, like stating how much a character can lift, etc. Those stats are found only in specific Marvel publications, namely the OHOTMU or other similar encyclopedic comics, or by publications that have Marvel's permission. In a nutshell, whoever is ultimately in charge of Wikipedia is worried to death about Marvel suing the holy crap of of them. Which, from a legal standpoint, Marvel could do if Wikipedia allowed and supported using copyrighted material.Odin's Beard 00:06, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
