No longer blocked indefinitely. I will keep blocking for one hour everytime a new bit of vandalism happens. That should slow people down. - Ta bu shi da yu 03:12, 3 August 2005 (UTC)

Checking the talk pages of these other proxy servers indicates that a large number of schools in new south wales use them, as well as lot's of other people. A long term ban is therefore not appropriate. Theresa Knott (The token star) 16:47, 30 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Yet another warning. What is this address? A middle school computer lab or something? Wonder if a long-term block might be in order. Isomorphic 03:54, 21 Jun 2004 (UTC)
I am currently at a NSW government high school, and it appears that that IP address is indeed us. However, I believe that there are many government high schools using the same IP. Thus, a block is inappropriate. In the event that more information is needed, the school that uses this IP is James Ruse Agricultural High School. --JSIN 03:24, 17 May 2005 (UTC)

Reblocked for continued vandalism. You'll have another chance when the block expires; if more vandalism comes from this ip# after that a longer term or indefinite block may be in order. -- Infrogmation 03:05, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)

You're obviously a bunch of bright lads, otherwise you'd be vandalising Kylie Minogue and Pokémon instead of Wordsworth and Byron. And your veiled threats show a command of vocabulary far in excess of that of the average vandal: "despicable mouth" indeed, almost worthy of Adonais himself; quite a credit to the Australian education system. Why don't you try editing some articles in a serious vein: start out somewhere easy, like Toilet humour or Offensive terms per nationality -- you never know, you might just discover the fun that there is in the whole thing. –Hajor 02:11, 17 May 2005 (UTC)
This talk article was just over-written by User:203.166.96.237 with the text:

Please do not vandalize articles. This sort of offense can include inserting nonsense into articles, blanking articles, or otherwise changing articles with obviously unwanted content. This serves no other purpose than creating more work for Wikipedia's editors and administrators. If you do continue, your account and/or IP will be blocked. Kelly Martin 04:41, May 27, 2005 (UTC)

Are we getting any good edits from this school, or is mostly or all such junk? We're refraining from longer term blockes because it's a shared ip, but are we getting anything of value in exchange for such caution? Wondering, -- Infrogmation

Multi user IP number
Note that it is not only students, people accessing wikipedia via schools or department of education computers, and not only people in New South Wales who are affected by the constant blocks placed on this IP number. Non-school based home users are also regularly affected by the bans on this IP number. Please be very careful before placing more blocks on this IP Number.

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text, deliberate misinformation, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. Leaving this ip# free to edit seems ever more like more trouble than it could be worth. -- Infrogmation 02:28, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
As a student at Sydney Boys High School, i find it appauling that students of the NSW education system would even contemplate misuse of the Wikipedia resource, how is it that such a vast repository of useful information can be turned into some common play toy.
Not funny at all.
Also on another note, regarding the post by Drew (Snottygobble), there are more than 8 schools in NSW, the number would probably be closer to 1000 schools, so dont act like a jackass and give us a bad name.

I have blocked this IP address permanently. If you are a teacher editing, I'm sorry but you really should look into controlling your students better. I know NSW schools can be rough, but that's really not our problem. - Ta bu shi da yu 01:05, 2 August 2005 (UTC)

If Ozemail cannot assist me tracking you down, I will block their whole damn subnet. Then you'll have no access at all. If they do assist, your school will be taking steps to track you down. - Ta bu shi da yu 03:33, 5 August 2005 (UTC)
