From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Are you blocked from editing?
Due to vandalism this IP address has been blocked from editing permanently. However, this is in Ozemail's proxy server IP range, so to get around this block you will need to stop using the Ozemail proxy server.
Image:Info-pictogram.png Attention:

This IP address, 203.166.96.235, is registered to New South Wales High Schools and users of Internet service provider Ozemail and is shared by multiple users. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP and appear to be irrelevant. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. In the event of vandalism from this address, efforts will be made to contact New South Wales High Schools and users of Internet service provider Ozemail to report abuse.

If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. However, you will still be unable to edit Wikipedia while the IP you are using is blocked.

No longer blocked indefinitely. I will keep blocking for one hour everytime a new bit of vandalism happens. That should slow people down. - Ta bu shi da yu 03:08, 3 August 2005 (UTC)

203.166.96.235= This IP is also used by Google users so this is why we're getting malicious article edits by these users. We need a way to address this with Google or the ISP and only allow this and other Spammer IPs to only view the Wikipedia articles and sites. --Kloy1334 13:57, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Your experiment

Hello, your experiment on Wikipedia in the John Howard article was succesful and has now been reverted. In future, if you would like to make a political statement, may I advise a discussion site like Kuro5hin? [1] Alternatively, you could always create a user account and write what you think in there. If you are unsure why Wikipedia is an inappropriate forum for rants, please see Wikipedia:Neutral Point of View. Thanks! - Ta bu shi da yu 04:31, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Hi. We're tired of all the vandalism coming from your school. If you wish to continue editing Wikipedia, you had best stop. Vandalism from you is a daily occurrence; a long-term block is not out of the question. Antandrus (talk) 05:07, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)

How are you today?

[edit] Multi user IP number

Note that it is not only students, people accessing wikipedia via schools or department of education computers, and not only people in New South Wales who are affected by the constant blocks placed on this IP number. Non-school based home users are also regularly affected by the bans on this IP number. Please be very careful before placing more blocks on this IP Number.

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires.

A block of two hours has been imposed, in view of repeated vandalism still after warnings. Action may be taken against the individual using this IP for vandalism. If necessary Wikipedia may be forced to impose a longer block to protect itself from continuous vandalism. Apologies to all genuine users who may be inconvenienced. It was made clear that, if the vandalism continued, a block would be imposed. It has. FearÉIREANN\(talk) 01:04, 27 Jun 2005 (UTC)
