[edit] "Oi, stop it!" - An open letter to the vandals.

Wikipedia is an immense and powerful resource, and just because you CAN edit it doesn't mean you should. Please stop vandalizing pages, and ruining it for the rest of us who may actually have something to add.

I must say that I am ashamed to be in your age group at the moment.

[edit] Shared ISP!!! Stop blocking us please...

Please don't block us. This ISP is shared by over a 1000 people and by blocking us you are disadvantaging the innocent people who haven't done anything wrong. Just because there are a few people who want to vandalise pages doesn't mean that the rest of us should have to suffer. Wikipedia is a great resource and reliable research is very important to us. Thanks.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.10.121.83 (talkcontribs) 04:37, October 14, 2005 (UTC)

  • We don't have a lot of choice. We try to keep the blocks short, though. Those of you who wish to work with Wikipedia should consider creating an account. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 05:41, 14 October 2005 (UTC)

Blocking means you can still read Wikipedia and use it as a resource. You just can't edit it. The blocks will not come if you learn how to police yourselves and behave responsibly. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 05:41, 14 October 2005 (UTC)

  • I'm with the two above administrators on this one. Blocking only prevents editing and since there are a few dedicated kids intent on vandalising in Queensland, there will dontinue to be blocks. Sasquatcht|c 02:18, 25 October 2005 (UTC)

This IP has been repeatedly blocked from editing Wikipedia in response to vandalism. Further acts of vandalism from this IP may result in another immediate block without warning.

Please see Wikipedia's Blocking policy and what constitutes vandalism; such actions are not tolerated on Wikipedia, and are not taken lightly.

We hope that you will become a legitimate editor and create an account. Again, you are welcome here at Wikipedia, but remember not to vandalize or you will soon be blocked from editing.

[edit] Ip used by all the libraries and all the schools in queensland

This I.P is used by the whole education department of queensland so more then one school use it which is a problem becuase not everyone is responsible over here and they think its funny but there is no feasible way to monitor every computer in every school and library in queensland. And at most schools you are not allowed to log in or use accounts. So there is no feasible way around the problem.

So edit from your home computer. skorpion 02:46, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
