I recently went on-line and found that my account was blocked. It is Mfxhogan and 201.116.194.50 I have since found out that this number is assigned to our school (of which my computer is one)and that there have been several fradulent postings and editings, including one on "The American School of Guadalajara," as well as a couple of legitimate ones. I have reported this to the administration and they are investigating but with 1500 students and 300 staff it will not be easy. I know the block will be removed in a few days but I am writing to insure that other postings/editings from an IDENTIFIED USER will not be blocked in the future solely because of the IP address. Thank you. Dr. Michael Hogan, Humanities Department, American School Foundation of Guadaljara (Mexico). michael.hogan@asfg.mx

The block has been changed to keep out IPvandals. Registered users at this address should be able to logon and edit as per normal. Please let me know if this is not the case and I will investigate further. Apologies to registered users at this educational institution for the inconvenience. You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for repeated vandalism. If or when the block expires, feel free to come back, but please make useful contributions instead, and refrain from vandalising or this account will face longer blocks, and action could be taken against the individual who uses it. -- FayssalF - Wiki me up ® 14:53, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
