The 2007 ICC Twenty20 World Championship is a Twenty20 cricket tournament scheduled to take place in South Africa from September 11 to September 24, 2007. It will be the inaugural Twenty20 World Championship. Twelve teams will take part in the ten-day tournament, comprising the ten Test playing nations as well as Kenya and Scotland, the latter teams having qualified by reaching the final of the 2007 WCL Division One tournament.
