See Template talk:8ColPollTable for color code directions. This 1 column/week version does not use the color codes. If you plan to expand and "walk-up" to larger poll size, looking at the color codes now may be useful. A version could be created if there is a need.

If you intend to use a single column listing of a poll and don't want the "Week #/Date" headers, you can subst: this template and then edit it for your needs. Use: {{subst:1ColPollTable}}

This is the first in a series of similar templates. Although the single format could be used alone (with or without subst:), it can also be the first part of a poll that will increase in size as a season/event progresses. An article could begin using this one, and the next week, then switch to using the 2 column/week version, and so on. One could use the preset format for the known length of the event/item and just the name of the template (right after the {{ ) could just be switched by number to aid in the ease of updating in the future.
