  • Fastest Lap: Damon Hill 1m 23.575s
  • Senna hit Hill in the first corner, but both continued falling to 9th and 10th place.
  • Senna was chasing Martin Brundle, but braked too late and hit the back of Brundle's Ligier-Renault in the 8th lap, causing both to retire.
  • Fittipaldi collided with his team-mate Martini in the final straight, rolling, but he finished the race.
