1987 British Grand Prix

Results from the 1987 Formula One British Grand Prix held at Silverstone on July 12, 1987. The race is remembered by British fans for Mansell's determination, coming from 20 seconds behind Piquet on lap 45 and overtaking him 15 laps later. The Brit ovetook his Brazilian teammate at Stowe corner after performing a "double-shuffle". Viewers of BBC's coverage may recall Murray Walker cheering in the background of the English commentary after Mansell overtook Piquet.
