... (I think it was 1971) some players apparently pondered refusing to take the field in embarrassment and in protest of their, um, hideous appearance. :) -- All the same, I grant it's not exactly encyclopedic ... and, yes, shows a clear POV on my part. BYT 23:47, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
