Last warning. Stop vandalising or you will be blocked. -- Hadal 18:34, 26 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Please don't be a twat. This encyclopedia is not here as your personal playspace. --82.35.17.203 22:43, 27 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Yet again the problem of users with dynamic IP addresses I see.
I have not vandalised the wiki, I simply use an ISP with a dynamic IP address.
You really need to address this issue. Quickly.
- The above comments are not coming from this IP but from 217.42.46.146. Why are you editing the talk page for 195.93.34.9? - Tεxτurε 19:12, 15 Jul 2004 (UTC)

- He is posting because of this bug. Note that my IP address is not 195.93.34.9 either, but I just received a "You have New Messages" notification for it. I've been receiving them for many different IPs over the last month or so, even though the IP that appears when I post is always this one: --218.50.191.197 11:12, 23 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Actually, I'm going to have to agree - I use Wikipedia for research often, but have never editted before this. Why am I receiving a message linking me to this page? Dynamic IP issue, it seems....
I'm also apparently on a dynamic IP, and have never vandalized wiki.
Please do your testing in the Wikipedia:Sandbox. Thanks. -- Hadal 08:19, 18 Jul 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Not for me
I was presented with a link to this page (talk:195.93.34.9), but my IP address is not even on the same network and is 213.249.242.25 If I am being told I have a message when it isn't me, then something has gone wrong.
HEY! I haven't done anything and i'm getting all this malarkey! Just because lots of us are on AOL don't take it out on us!
Wikipedia said I got a new message, and linked me to this page. This is not even my IP address, and I do not have a dynamic address. 24.74.139.166
I'm another one that gets this message wrongly ! My IP is 81.69.89.98 and I'm on Wanadoo, the Netherlands.
Got it, too . I'm at a static IP (66.14.104.198) and I received the message at about 7:27pm Pacific Time, August 29, 2004
this is stupid. all of you take a walk with your stupid vandalising of this website
[edit] And Again
Yup my IP is 217.43.192.182 NOT 195.93.34.9 I'm on BT Openworld in the UK. Wikipedia, if you are using mod_perl or any other pre-compiled language, you may want to make sure variables defined/reset in the code for each different user (ie use of 'strict').
- It was very strange for me to get a message "You have new messages", and when clicking on the link to read in the very top of this page: "Please don't vandalise articles; you will be blocked if you continue to" :-(
- Especialy due to the fact that I did not edit any entry in the English Wikipedia.

[edit] Trigger happy, eh?
Im on a Dynamic IP and got blocked from Wiki...blocked!...and i did nothing wrong. it took me 3 days to hack back in and type this. Listen tho this, Mr. "Hadal" I got news for you. Stop sending me random things that aren't true! Im sending wikipedia a warning now...because i know im not the only one who feels this way. oh, by the way, I'm 13 years old and ive got better things to do than get kicked off of an online education source for an incompatability error, okay? the simplest solution is that you should make wiki a must-sign-up thing so that it diminishes any misconceptions. you savvy?
[edit] Help!
I got 3 warnings... the last one said "dont be a twat"...a twat! i wish thait isnt a type-o because that is funny as heck! i dont even know what a twat is! shows you how intelligent wiki is...bluddy mistyping...(random grumbling under breath)...
what's going on? by the way, a twat is a pussy, innocent genius-child...
what kind of twat doesn't know what a twat is?
[edit] ahhhhh!!
This message's definitely not for me. I'm too using a dynamic IP from Asia, actually sharing one with others in the same intranet.
[edit] A piece of advice
I have an idea: a rule should be implement that one who doesn't login as a valid user is not allowed to edit any pages. Also, vandals' accounts will be revoked and the related email addresses should be recorded and should never be use to register new wiki users again.
[edit] me too
My IP is 212.46.248.32 23:45, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)
