This IP address, 195.134.12.229, is registered to Business Serve plc and is shared by multiple users. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP and appear to be irrelevant. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking. In the event of vandalism from this address, efforts will be made to contact Business Serve plc to report abuse.

If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. However, you will still be unable to edit Wikipedia while the IP you are using is blocked.

Whether this is a shared IP or not, every single edit ever made from this account has been vandalism. RickK 00:47, Mar 9, 2005 (UTC)

This is silly. I have made numerous good contributions to Wikipedia, and despite having my own login, I find myself blocked, because this IP is blocked. Unblock it. Has any abuse come from this IP today? You are just blocking legitimate users.

Stop adding nonsense comments to voting pages or risk being blocked from editing. Thanks, jni 11:49, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)

And do not change other people's votes. One more vandalism and you're out. Lupo 11:52, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Say, why don't you stop that nonsense? If this is an awkward attempt to point out that there are a lot of "John Driscolls" that are more noteworthy, then why don't you write an article about one of them? That'd be more productive, and ultimately more fun and more rewarding for yourself, too. Lupo 12:05, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)
"You guys are gonna delete me for sure anyway" — no, we're not. We may delete that article about you, but certainly not you. Don't take that VfD business so personal. Write a nice article about the actor John Driscoll instead, he just might be encyclopedia-worthy. Lupo 12:16, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)
There seem to be at least four actors named "John Driscoll" :-) Lupo 12:28, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Blocked for 24 hours because of repeated vandalism in John Driscoll and its VfD subpage. jni 14:40, 25 Feb 2005 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. jni 11:53, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] IPs

All edits by non-logged in users are tracked using IP numbers. All comments on voting pages need to be signed. Since you didn't do that someone else did. It's perfectly in line with Wikipedia policies. BTW, every time you edit you leave your IP number on the site anyway. If you don't like that, you should sign up for a free account.
