1959 NBA Draft. The 1959 NBA Draft consisted of 14 rounds with 91 players selected. The draft included two future hall of famers in Wilt Chamberlain and Bailey Howell.
Chamberlain was a territorial draft pick of the Warriors. NBA teams were then eligible, before the draft, to select a player who went to high school within fifty miles of the team's arena, and forfeit their first round pick.[1]
