Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and write articles, however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 194.109.22.148). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.
Please note these points:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view to edit the article; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do that.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted texts, advertisement messages, and texts that are not related to that article. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism. A user who repeatedly vandalises articles will be blocked from editing.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page – I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia.

[edit] Re: Webdirectory/Links
The function of wikipedia is not to provide a source of links to other websites, there are plenty of search engines and web directories out there already that do that.
- And wikipedia is a source on internet that does that too. That's why it is part of the internet (hence the "inter" part in this network). 194.109.22.149 15:57, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
The linking ability of mediawiki that you talk about is developed with internal links around the wiki in mind.
- No, it is developed with linking in mind, be it outside or inside wikipedia, no separation of the two. In fact, putting in a link outside a MediaWiki needs less code. 194.109.22.149 15:57, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
Wikipedia has good guidelines on what external links should be included in articles and links to websites for downloading software or MP3s are not included in those guidelines—in fact most people consider such links as spam.
- You know as well as I do they will only LIKE it when the appropriate linking is already there, and NO, most people will not consider such links as spam. They aren't. Look up the definition of spam. Believe me, I know what it is, and it has nothing to do with informative linking to and or from pages that are part of the internet.194.109.22.149 15:57, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
Please stop adding such spam to wikipedia and please stop your personal attacks on wikipedia users. JeremyA (talk) 17:59, 24 September 2005 (UTC)
- Look at your own ridiculous behavior first. By the way, I'm a different user than the one you seem to be writing to/about, even though I agree with this user more than I agree with you. 194.109.22.149 15:57, 25 September 2005 (UTC)
Please do not add commercial links (or links to your own private websites) to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. See the welcome page to learn more. Thanks.
Alas, this is a dynamic ip (or a proxy whatever). So I was a bit surprised. But I think wikipedia has normal rules and they should be followed (I hate you other user >.> )
[edit] Personal attacks
Please do not make personal attacks against users. Moe ε 22:44, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Shifting cultivation
It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Shifting cultivation. Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Shifting cultivation, are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. [edit] Steven Rombom
Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to the Steven Rombom page. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.
- I consider a webpage about Steven Rombom to be vandalism in and of itself. Why not start one about each and every inhabitant on planet earth then? Therefore, as long as it exists, I will treat it as such. This asswipe is sueing OsiruSoft because he likes to make money by doing nothing but annoying (and threatening) innocents. Starting a wikipedia page about this 'man' (one can hardly call him that) is so ridiculous every action against this page is more deserving than the possible action against the actions against this wikipedia entry about him. As long as this idiot is vandalizing innocents, vandalism against this man's wikipedia page is allowed, period. 194.109.22.148 21:27, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 16:26, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- There is no such thing as "justified vandalism". If you find the article's subject so offensive, either don't browse there or start an WP:AFD. (Nuggetboy) (talk) (contribs) 23:36, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalise Wikipedia, as you did to The Autobiography of an Ex-Colored Man, you will be blocked. SMBriscoe 23:47, 29 January 2007 (UTC) (please stop)
