[edit] Contradiction

This article says "The 1940 games had been scheduled for Tokyo, and later Helsinki as WWII started; no plans were made to hold games in 1944." However, according to the 1944 Summer Olympics page, "They were to have been held in London, United Kingdom by a decision of the IOC in June 1939."

Which is right? rst20xx 18:56, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image

Is there any type of main image anyone can get for this to make this look similar to the other pages of the Olympic Games?

A program cover, official logo, etc.?

[edit] Art competitions

Is it worth mentioning 1948 was effectively the last year for Art competitions at the Olympic Games? Medallists for art competitions in general are listed at Olympic medallists in art competitions, and are listed for 1948 at http://www.databaseolympics.com/games/gamessport.htm?g=12&sp=ART —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lumpish Scholar (talkcontribs) 23:22, 26 January 2007 (UTC).
