[edit] Merge proposal

  • Don't merge - both articles focus on different hurricane seasons, I don't see a good rationale for merging. RainbowCrane 06:42, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
The merge proposal is for this article and 1949 (and 3 others) to be merged into "1945-49 Pacific typhoon seasons".--Nilfanion (talk) 08:39, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
  • Don't merge - It was removed as there is no reason for it to be merged with the '49 Season as the seasons can stay there just like the dates where almost no events happened. They are necessary but will never reach big size though they can get decent enough to merit FA status or A-Class. Lincher 17:37, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
