Is this really a movement? The arguement for it in the article seems pretty shallow. So over the last 20 or so years there have been a handful of movies set in the 40s. That doesn't make a movement. There are going to be movies that take place in that time period, but it doesn't make it a movement. Since Cinderalla Man came out in 2005 does that mean that there's some kind of on going Retro 30s Movement? Also the article can't seem to make up it's mind what it's about, the 40s or 50s.

A retro movement consists of things like styles coming back, pop culture of the era being back in style, music of the era being back in style etc.

This article either needs to be done right or removed.

• This article is legidimate i believe because i do remember the retro swing craze of the late 90s. This movement was a small one and it was only fueled by 'retro swing music', if 'retro swing' didn't become popular then this article could never have been.

Perhaps an article should be made about Retro swing and this article scrapped (Tigerghost 05:18, 3 March 2007 (UTC))
