1949 Thomas Cup

The 1949 Thomas Cup was the inaugural tournament of Thomas Cup, the men's badminton tournament. It was held in Glasgow, Scotland for the first round event and Preston, England hosted the final round.

Malaya eventually emerged as tournament champion after beating Denmark in the final.
