I edit from this IP (it is a school IP, as the notice says) and frequently suffer from collateral damage inflicted by the blocks issued for vandalism. I appreciate that blocks need to be issued but, under the current system I am disappointed at not being able to edit due to these narrow minded individuals. I am requesting this unblock, as it can always be reapplied, for shorter periods, if vandalism continues, which, being a secondary school, it will. That's life I'm sorry to say.
I hope this request will be actioned :S
Gary Kirk (editing from the IP as, though I am behind the IP proxy it seems I can't edit under my username and had to log out to reveal the "raw" IP (proxy). 193.112.229.153 11:22, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
- That's great. It would be most helpful though if you contacted the School IT people and let them know what kind of vandalism was going on from their address and that maybe they should try to control it better. Just a thought. pschemp | talk 18:25, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for violating Wikipedia policy against vandalism. To contest this block, please reply here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock}} along with the reason you believe the block is unjustified, or email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list.
Note to sysops: Unblocking yourself should almost never be done. If you disagree with the block, contact another administrator. (aeropagitica) (talk) 10:01, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
