Talk:1931 Yellow River flood

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm not sure that 1931 counts as "historic times".

  • As in recorded history - not prehistoric times. Warofdreams 10:34, 19 Jan 2005 (UTC)
    • It still strikes me as awkward. Maybe "recorded natural disaster" rather than "natural disaster of historic times".
      • I say we keep it. I do not find it awkward, but rather an interesting tidbit. --SaulPerdomo

[edit] Death toll in the 1938 flood

Is it a political decision not to mention the 500,000 to 900,000 Chinese lives lost as a result of a deliberate act of breaching the dykes because it was ordered by US ally Chiang Kai Shek? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Herne nz (talkcontribs) 08:21, 27 January 2007 (UTC).

Read the title of the article. If you want to compare the death toll of Yellow River floods, create a Yellow River floods article.--Skyfiler 17:43, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
