[edit] Fair use claim for photo to be used in Babe Ruth article

This photo dates from 1927. The source of this particular photo is the book The Great All-Time Baseball Record Book, published in 1980 by MacMillan Publishing, authored by Joseph Reichler. Photo credit is given to the New York Yankees.

A fair use claim is made for this photo to be used in the Babe Ruth article, in the section "1927: A Team for the Ages." Some detail is written about this team in this article, a team many baseball experts still consider the greatest team of all-time. When one mentions this team, one thinks of the greatness of this team of Ruth's record 60 home run season, even though Lou Gehrig was the American League MVP.

This photo has been enlarged from its original source. Other details have been enhanced. A famous picture, one will find this specific photo in many baseball books. The fair use of this photo is for educational and non-commercial purposes only.
