- Weissenhof Estate in Stuttgart, designed by a team led by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is completed.
- Battersea Power Station in London, designed by Giles Gilbert Scott.
- The rebuilt Quadrant in Regent Street, London, is officially declared complete.
- Bakhmetevsky Bus Garage in Moscow, designed by Konstantin Melnikov and Vladimir Shukhov, is completed. Konstantin Melnikov enters his "golden season", designing over 10 buildings in one year, including extant Kauchuk Factory Club, Rusakov Workers' Club, Svoboda Factory Club and his own residence in Moscow. These buildings were completed in 1928-1929
- The Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne, Australia is completed.
