Started by Laura M Gross and based in the residence of that address in New York, the 1925 F Street Club was a private members club. It counted many well known names as regular guests, including John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Nikita Khrushchev and Fidel Castro.
Started after the Great Depression of 1929, the club is now part of the George Washington University campus (as the Alumini House), Laura Gross having died some years ago.
