I assume that the (+ date) bit is the date of death, am I right? Why are these dates not linked?

If you are adding the birth/death of an author, should it go here as well as in the literature section or only in the literature section? ledgerbob 17:38, 21 Dec 2003 (UTC)

I don't think there are any rules, but authors should probably only be placed on the main year page (i.e. here) if he's really big -- Shakespeare, Joyce, Orwell, etc. Most authors should just be on the literature page. Tuf-Kat 17:45, Dec 21, 2003 (UTC)

Edward VII became the Emperor of India on January 22, 1901, not in 1903 as stated here.
