[edit] Plot
With disastrous hypothetical polling numbers from Joey Lucas in hand, staffers prepare to announce the President's condition. But first, both Sam and Oliver Babish question the First Lady about the matter. Meanwhile, a crisis erupts in Haiti; Josh deals with two Democratic senators who are less than enthusiastic about the Government's tobacco-industry suit; and male staffers can't help but give Mrs. Landingham car-buying advice. In this episode Donna is told by Toby about the President's condition. He tells her "You're the first of the assistant staff to know".In a brief conversation with Mrs Landingham, directly before she goes to collect her new car, the President says he'd like to have a word with her on her return, which of course he is never able to do.
[edit] Episode Title
The intersection of 18th and Potomac is the location of Mrs Landingham's car accident.
