- William Wordsworth writes "I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud", inspired by an April 15, 1802 in which Wordsworth and his sister, Dorothy, came across a "long belt" of daffodils. The poem will be first published in 1807 and published in revised form in 1815. It is titled "The Daffodils" in some anthologies.
