16A

The 16A is a public bus route managed and run by Dublin Bus, Dublin's public transport service and semi-state body. It runs on a frequent basis (up to every 15 minutes at peak time and every 25 at non peak times) from Dublin Airport in the north of the county to Curchtown in southern county Dublin.

[edit] The 16 route
Both the 16 and 16a bus routes are practically identical as both follow the exact same route except for the Santry and Airport and the last 3KM or so on the southisde. The 16 bus route starts at Shanard in Santry then it follows its companion 16A from Swords Road as far as the Grange road junction, before diverting to serve the Balinteer region. The 16A on the northisde continues up pass the Santry terminus turn off, serving Omni, ALSAA, and into the Airport, and operates to the Bottle tower.
