16 Greatest Hits is a compilation album by Steppenwolf, released in 1973 (see 1973 in music). As to expect from the title, it contains some of their most famous songs, including "Born to Be Wild" and "Magic Carpet Ride", and also the oddly-rhythmed "Hey Lawdy Mama" which was previously only included in the 1970 Steppenwolf Live.
