Please do not vandalise Wikipedia

January 2005

  1. Hi. The stuff you are writing at Dean Gordon is obvious vandalism. Please do not make nonsense edits. If you want to know more about what we are doing here, please read Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers. DJ Clayworth 17:39, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)
  2. If you think it's neccessary to insult someone, please use proper spelling and grammar. And be adult enough to sign it with your name. JimmyShelter 19:28, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)

September 2005

  1. This message is regarding the article Pwn. Please stop removing content from Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- GraemeL (talk) 11:44, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
  2. Re: "Greg Singer" — Please do not post articles about non-notable individuals. Being a really smart high school student is not a notable enough accomplishment, nor does it appear that he has achieved enough fame. Please do not repost it. Thanks. Postdlf 13:41, 22 September 2005 (UTC)

October 2005

  1. Your edits to John Kerry, hot dog and other articles have been reverted.

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Solipsist 15:14, 5 October 2005 (UTC)

  1. This message is regarding the article Argon. Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. [ contribsblockblock log ]Abe Dashiell(t/c) 14:46, 21 October 2005 (UTC)
  2. Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. -- SCZenz 15:08, 21 October 2005 (UTC)
  3. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to George Washington, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. PJM 14:06, 27 October 2005 (UTC)

  1. This message is regarding the page Canada. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. JoanneB 14:11, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
    • Your latest vandalism sprees has earned you a month's vacation from editing here. Knock off the junk and insults, and you may come back after that if you wish to make constructive rather than destructive edits. More vandalism from you can result in long term reblocking without further warning. -- Infrogmation 15:43, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
    • This IP is the HTTP proxy for Manatee County's school system. Be careful when blocking. Luigi30 (Ταλκ) 20:11, 11 November 2005 (UTC)

Blocked for vandalism - 5th block

RE: [1] You have been blocked for 6 weeks for continuing to vandalise Wikipedia despite repeated requests not to. Please note that this is now your fifth block, and any further acts of vandalism will consequently result in a significantly longer ban. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to resume editing after the block expires. Until then, you shall be able to read Wikipedia articles, but not write page changes. Should you have any questions regarding this restriction of editing privileges, please do not hesitate to have your school or district's computer system administrator contact me directly. Best regards, Hall Monitor 19:08, 16 November 2005 (UTC)

  2. Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Sjakkalle (Check!) 13:52, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
    • Reblocked for 1 month for continued vandalism. If there are any legitimate users using this ip#, please see if your system administrator can do something about the vandalism coming from here, or a continuing block on edits from here may be made. I refrained from making an indefinite block of this ip today only because of the suggestion above that it may be a shared ip. -- Infrogmation 15:22, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
    • I keep getting caught in the crossfire when this IP gets blocked. It's the HTTP proxy for my school district, and when it's blocked, I'm blocked with it. The only thing I can do is get on IRC and hope that it gets unblocked, which puts me at risk for getting in trouble here at school (IRC bad). Luigi30 (Ταλκ) 17:49, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
Perhaps you can assist us then by bringing this to the attention of your school's system administrator? Hall Monitor 17:52, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
      They don't listen to students. Luigi30 (Ταλκ) 23:01, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
  3. This message is regarding the page December 7. Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. JoanneB 15:01, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
