While I do not condole any of the murders or the fact that millions of people all over the world were affected by his doings, I do have to add my own two cents and mention how there is a part of Medellin that obtain something good out of this. Pablo was an evil man, but he did give a lot to the poor and even tried paying for Colombia's then debt, which was refused and he was sent to jail. My grandmother was given a place to live in one of the towns he built, yes, with tainted money, but he was a man that loved his people to an extent.
