"Aerosmith-style blues" doesn't need to be a specific genre type to be an accurate description of what Gun n' Roses does. GNR are not part of the blues tradition of Muddy Waters, Derek and the Dominos and Led Zeppelin. So "Aerosmtih-type blues" it is.
