Please consider 1) Describing each edit with the Edit Summary box (above the Save Page button), 2) Grouping edits together to reduce the number of edits in the Page History to make it easier for fellow editors to monitor the edits, 3) Using the Show Preview button, 4) Registering a user ID (not necessary) to make the whole experience more fun! [edit] Your edits to the operator section of various aircraft

Hello. Please stop reverting the removal of country information from the 'operators' section of aircraft articles. Information on the specific military organisations that used the various craft is far more useful than the nations that used it. And, of course, if one of the operators is the Canadian Air Force, it should be dreadfully obvious that Canada is a nation that uses the aircraft.

Furthermore, the current 'operators' section is a stopgap that was apparently implemented some time ago. WikiProject Aircraft standards call for a 'Units using the <aircraft name>' section, which contains a list of all the squadrons in all the Air Forces that use the aircraft. [edit] "Operators"?

Might I suggest a better section heading than "Operators" to describe which countries fly any given aircraft? "Operators" sounds like it's talking about the pilots. Also, you might want to register a user account. It would help separate you from those vandalism edits that are coming through from the people you share an IP address with. --Cyde Weys 05:21, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
