[edit] Your Edit to Yeshivat Chovevei Torah

Could you please cite specific sources (e.g. article title, date, page) for criticism found in Yetid and/or other Haredi sources? Also, the idea that some biblical stories are not to be taken literally is in Rambam's A Guide to the Perplexed -- it is not accurate to say that it is anathema in Orthodox circles. Need to be specific about what specific comments are objected to and who is objecting. In general, it's not consisitent with Wikipedia policy to refer to anonymous critics like "some" Haredi or Orthodox etc. Need to cite specific criticism of specific things by specific individuals in published sources. Otherwise, Wikipedia has no way of verifying that the opinions are legitimately published ones and not simply your own.

Finally, statements about "leftist" etc. need to be put in perspective. Most Wikipedia readers would probably consider YCT a very right-wing institution for the same reasons they would consider Orthodox Judaism (particularly Haredi Judaism a very right-wing form of religion, and would not regard YCT as being in any way leftist. Statements like "leftist" are certainly acceptable if you can find quotes about YCT by Haredi leaders with such language. Best, --Shirahadasha 04:29, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
