[edit] History

150 WATTS history began in the year 2002 when Piotrek, Slawek and Maciek from hardcore act Knockdown wrote couple of punk rock songs. Because they were much different form hard hitting Knockdown style the decision was made that the new songs would be the starting point of a new band.

Pretty soon 150 WATTS teamed up with second guitarist Sebastian who added some rock'n'roll feel to their music. The line up was completed when Ula joined the band on vocals in August 2002. Since than 150 WATTS have been blasting their specific blend of punk rock and rock'n'roll.

In June 2003 the band recorded their debut CD which was released on DC-9 Records on 19th of March 2004. This effort entitled Letnia Depresja truly defined the bands identity.
