14th Infantry Division (United States)

The 14th Infantry Division was an infantry division of the United States Army activated for service in Europe during the First World War.

The 14th Infantry Division was still in the process of formation when the war ended. Shortly afterwards the unit was deactivated.

During the Second World War the 14th Infantry Division remained inactive, although it was one of the divisions supposedly assigned to the First U.S. Army Group as part of Operation Fortitude.
