14 Year Old Girls began in the year 2000 and are the first Nintendo Punk band. They are not, as some believe, "Nintendocore" (a form of hardcore music with synthesizers and video game oriented lyrics).[citation needed] They have two full-length releases, Zombies In, Robots Out and Strategy Guide, on the Retard Disco label. The members and their respective positions are: Kimot- Lead Vocals, Halfy- Lead Vocals, Morizy- Keyboard, Billy- Guitar, Bunny- Drums, Honey- Bass, and Mitchem- Horn. The original members met at a screening of The Wizard. They were originally called Link and the Zeldas, until they lost that title in a Street Fighter II competition, and were forever labeled 14 Year Old Girls. Their song topics range from video games, to snack foods, to freeing lobsters. They have done crossover songs with other Retard Disco labeled bands/artists, such as Vice Cooler. They have on their website an e-mail address for aspiring band members. They are also alleged members of the NES Youth Crew '92. As well as that, they are strong supporters of the graduating class of 2009.
