User talk:144.160.5.25

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I was sent a warning directing me to this page when I loaded the article on BellSouth from my workstation (at the AT&T office, which may explain the "commercial links" described below). I have never edited a Wikipedia page before creating this account about half an hour ago. Since I do not know who made the offending edits or when, I can only suggest that 144.160.5.25 be blocked from editing. -- epee1221 02:58 28 Jul 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. -- Evercat 22:23, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Spamming this site and vandalizing articles are sure ways of getting you banned from further editing. This is not a bulletin board nor is it a free advertising site. Please cease immediately or you will be reported for vandalism of Wikipedia. - Lucky 6.9 8 July 2005 20:14 (UTC)

Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. I will assume good faith, but you could you explain how the moves were incorrect, because they correct to me. Falphin 02:02, 14 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Warning

You have recently vandalized a Wikipedia article, and you are now being asked to stop this type of behavior. You're welcome to continue editing Wikipedia, so long as these edits are constructive. Please see Wikipedia's Blocking policy and what constitutes vandalism; such actions are not tolerated on Wikipedia, and are not taken lightly.

We hope that you will become a legitimate editor and create an account. Again, you are welcome here at Wikipedia, but remember not to vandalize or you will soon be blocked from editing.

If you feel you have received this message in error, it may be because you are using a shared IP address. Nevertheless, repeated vandalism from this address may cause you to be included in any future punishments such as temporary blocks or bans. To avoid confusion in the future, we invite you to create a user account of your own.

[edit] Spam

Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thanks.
