13 moon calendar

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 13 Moon Calendar is a calendar based on 13 "moons" of 28 days, with an intercalary "Day Out of Time" for global celebration of peace through culture.

The 28-day "moon" of the calendar does not quite match the synodic month, the time from new moon to new moon, which is about 29.53 days.
