From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Attention:

This IP address, 139.184.30.17, is registered to the University of Sussex, and may be shared by multiple users. In the case of organizations using proxy servers, this IP address may in fact represent many users at many physical computers.

For this reason, a message intended for one person may be received by another and a block shared by many. If you are editing from this address and are frustrated by irrelevant messages, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may temporarily be unable to create an account due to efforts to fight vandalism, in which case, please see here.

If you are autoblocked repeatedly, we encourage you to contact your Internet service provider or IT department and ask them to contact Wikimedia's XFF project about enabling X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that our editing blocks will affect only the intended user.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block with the template {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the block reason.

Note: In the event of vandalism from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your network administrator for further investigation.

Attention:

This IP address, 139.184.30.17, is registered to a proxy server, and is shared by multiple users. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP address and appear to be irrelevant. Extreme caution should be used when blocking, banning, or reverting this IP's contributions. If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP Address of your machine.

139.184.30.17 is the IP address that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers, which is, in other words, a proxy. Such Proxies are shared among an infinite number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine, so refrain from blaming any new messages on them. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments being sent to you, then please end it by creating an account for yourself.

Please Note: Proxy users often change IP addresses with each page they load.
Warnings or Messages left on this page will not likely be received by the intended user.

[edit] Lewisham SE19

Can user 139.184.30.17 name any location that is in both SE19 & Lewisham. I have deleted part of the London SE19 article that seemed to surgest there was an overlap where the a4z PostCode & London Borough meet.

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. — Nearly Headless Nick 11:59, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
