Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 138.162.0.37). Logging in does not require any personal details. There are many other benefits for logging in to Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can type {{helpme}} on this page and an experienced Wikipedian will be around to answer any questions you may have.
Please note these points:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as: copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Both adding such unreasonable information and editing articles maliciously are considered vandalism.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, ask me on my Talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. FrankB 05:44, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add yourself or anyone else without a Wikipedia article to the Wikicalendar pages. To have an article, a person must meet the criteria outlined in WP:BIO. Thank you. Fabricationary 20:48, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

Hi, I strongly suggest you read WP:3RR which you seem to have gone over. If you do so again, you may be blocked. JoshuaZ 16:22, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

Your recent edit to FidoNews (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. If the bot reverted a legitimate edit, please accept my humble creator's apologies – if you bring it to the attention of the bot's owner, we may be able to improve its behavior. Click here for frequently asked questions about the bot and this warning. // AntiVandalBot 17:20, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to FidoNet. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. – Chris53516 (Talk) 17:49, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your edit to List of largest United States universities by enrollment
You have recently vandalized a Wikipedia article, and you are now being asked to stop this type of behavior. You're welcome to continue editing Wikipedia, so long as these edits are constructive. Please see Wikipedia's Blocking policy and what constitutes vandalism; such actions are not tolerated on Wikipedia, and are not taken lightly.
We hope that you will become a legitimate editor. Again, you are welcome here at Wikipedia, but remember not to vandalize or you will soon be blocked from editing.
If you feel you have received this message in error, it may be because you are using a shared IP address. Nevertheless, repeated vandalism from this address may cause you to be included in any future sanctions such as temporary blocks or bans. To avoid confusion in the future, we invite you to create a user account of your own. --Analoguekid 19:19, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dec 2006
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Soup (disambiguation), are considered vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. cab 12:42, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your edits to Robert Byrd
I had to revert your edits to the above article for a number of reasons. First of all, articles must conform to WP:NPOV and be written from a neutral point of view. This applies to critics of his record and supporters that seek to apologize for his past actions. As per Wikipedia policy, the burden of proof would be on Byrd's critics, and not the senator, regarding whether or not he is still involved in the Klan. Any such implication without a source that he is still a member would, therefore, violate WP:V. Also, the placing of the comment in the first paragraph would violate WP:LEAD.
Furthermore, the part about Marshall and Thomas is in fact in the article, as (regardless of what his backers may feel) pertinent to his record and is written according to WP policy. While the comments about the other nominees are arguable, you could, if well-sourced (which wouldn't be hard to do), find a quote from respected conservative civil rights activist Niger Innis that called his opposition to Rice and others "racist". You could say something like "His opposition to (whoever) was labeled as racist by Niger Innis, a spokesperson for CORE."
I hope this helps. Cheers. youngamerican (ahoy hoy) 17:39, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- I went ahead and added something to that effect on Rogers Brown and Rice that had been in the article and had passed the muster with conservative, liberal, and indifferent editors. youngamerican (ahoy hoy) 17:49, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
