[edit] hi

Hi, yes, I think you're doing fine on the malaria, we're just trying to find a way to collaborate with you. (If you pick a username that would help communication). You were making a lot of changes, and when they're made incrementally it becomes very hard to keep track of the differences. We'd like to help you with the flow and the language of the article. - Nunh-huh 01:05, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Protists

Thanks for the work on protists. This is huge subject and the classification is still on going. At the present (2004) there are (I think) 28 phyla recognised. There are a few minor errors in the classification posted at the minute - at least we think they might be errors as the classification itself is not at all stable. My own area of expertese is in plasmodium if that will be of any use.

Thanks for the recognition! Any help with the group would be appreciated. Regarding the classification, there isn't really a standard list of phyla, and I'm picking and choosing among different published systems based on what current ideas about phylogeny are. I'd be surprised if there are any errors per se, but there are probably cases where I'm going on incomplete or obsolete information. If you have suggestions as to what would be changed, I would greatly appreciate hearing them. Thanks again, Josh 02:48, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)

To the user who created and has edited this article:

I've done some more work on it, and created an article for Mater Hospital. It would good if you could do some more work (on both?), and especially good if you registered a User name (see below).

[edit] Hoaxes

I this IP keeps posting hoaxes (see Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Brian Reddy, Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/'Bolg an Ísil-Aicme', adding Joe Kelly to the List of famous people born in Gdansk, creating a bogus Simon hollingsworth article, this edit to Zenobia, John Gillen, and maybe others), it will be blocked from editing for an extended period of time. [edit] P. jiroveci

Hi. Your edits to Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia are appreciated, but I'm going to take the liberty of moving some of the new material to the Pneumocystis jiroveci article, which is about the organism itself rather than the disease. ...Actually now I'm not sure how much of it should be moved; I'll raise the question on the talk page. ←Hob 19:32, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

excuse me, how exactly is my edit a vandalism? the two players play neither for the first nor the second squad. and how come that i get a last warning although i have never got a warning before? i only started editing yesterday.

See above as to "why" you rec'd a last warning. Also please see below as to steps to avoid such final warnings:

Welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and gives you many benefits, including:

As far as I can see, the user page states clearly that this is a proxy server and the IP adress is shared. I don't see why I should be responsible for the warnings issued at other people. I know that you are only doing aour job, but you might take that into consideration. 134.226.1.136 13:02, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

This is your only warning. Your recent vandalism has shown you to be intent on doing harm to Wikipedia. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Benon 16:15, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. Benon 16:27, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
