[edit] Thanks for the apology

Thanks for taking the time to put an pology on my talk page. I appreciate it, and consider the matter closed. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask me. Best, Gwernol 22:04, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding my reversion of your edit

I'm sorry if you found my revert and talk page notice "offensive". It was certainly not meant to be anything of the sort. However, I checked out your editing history before doing either, and simply put, your prior edits did not exactly inspire confidence in the legitimacy of your edits.

Be that as it may, if you believe John Paul II's "nickname" should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page first. High-profile articles like that one have many editors working on them, and your edits stand a much better chance if you discuss them first.

I'm sure that "JPII" can be mentioned somewhere in the article, by the way, but I'm pretty sure everyone will agree with me that the infobox is not the place.

Cheers, and happy editing! --Ashenai 22:11, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
