what test? I am trying to add valid info into an article, and vandals keep removing it. how do i stop that?
Making an article named Retarded Monkey and redirecting it to the Bush article is not valid info. I both hope and believe you agree in that. Shanes 21:03, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
i calls 'em like i sees 'em. other articles have common names, mispellings, and nicknames redirecting to the main aarticle, why not mr. monkeyface? steve.
Because others don't see it like that, and to keep wikipedia Neutral we can't call Bush a retarded monkey. Read Wikipedia:NPOV, please. Shanes 21:11, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
Please stop adding nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- BMIComp (talk) 21:11, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
shane already told me not to make redircts. I am done. Now will you two help me fight the real vandals on the george w. bush article? they keep deleting my addition.... steve
Edits to George W. Bush
Please discuss the edits you wish to make on Talk:George W. Bush. Otherwise, your edits will continue to be reverted. And while I trust that your edits were not made in bad faith, please consider before adding abusive comments in edit summaries such as 'you biased bush suck-ups sicken me'. Not all of us like Bush (I certainly don't), but we're trying to build a neutral encyclopedia here. Thanks, Sango123 21:15, July 13, 2005 (UTC)
Please be aware and adhere to Wikipedia:Three revert rule. I don't like Bush either, but if you violate the rule again I will be forced to block you for 24 hours. Gamaliel 21:32, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
Please be aware and adhere to Wikipedia:NPOV. -steve
NPOV does not give you licence to violate the 3RR. This is your last warning. Gamaliel 21:33, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
if a vandal keeps changing it, I would assume i have an exemption to fix it, i am sorry. I will not revert it anymore, just try alterations of the text. can you lock the article with the addition or ban the vandales? you sound like you have some sort of admin ability -steve
They are not vandals, they simply disagree with you regarding the content of the article. Please sort your disagreements with other editors on Talk:George W. Bush and not through constant reverting. I have blocked you from editing for 12 hours though I will remove this block if you agree to refrain from editing the George Bush article again today and discuss your differences with the other editors on the talk page. (Note that you can still edit this page and reply here.) Gamaliel 21:45, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
"Despite the ubiquity of his own countrified nickname in the media, Dubya has never been commonly used in Bush's presence." [1]

Please do not delete other users' comments [2]. If that was an error, please correct and disregard. -- RyanFreisling @ 20:43, 14 July 2005 (UTC)

- If you follow the link, you'll see that when you committed your edit, you deleted the following comment (which the user then re-added):
:::I'm new to this discussion, but I find it interesting you feel the need to question others on their bias and proper editing, when you do things like add GWB links to redneck, moron, and American Idiot... makes it hard for others to take you too seriously. --Gunmetal 20:35, 14 July 2005 (UTC)
Perhaps an edit conflict. -- RyanFreisling @ 20:54, 14 July 2005 (UTC) appologies for that. was not intentional. -steve.

I have blocked you from editing for 24 hours. Wikipedia is a collaborative effort and we must learn to work together. Such behavior as you have exhibited here is inappropriate and will not be tolerated, and if you wish to continue to participate in this project you must modify your behavior. You are able to continue to edit this talk page during the time you are blocked, but if you continue to post racist remarks or personal attacks here I will lock this page. Gamaliel 21:01, 14 July 2005 (UTC)
appologies for the racist remarks, {personal attack removed) on the "dubya" page get to me. I've learned my lesson. Apparently the majority is always unbiased and right on wikipedia, will bring re-ienforcments to unbias the article next time. i guess this is yet another case of democrasy failing us. -steve oh and RyanFreisling is (personal attack removed)
Apparently you have not learned your lesson. Your block has been extended to 48 hours and this page is now locked. The supposed bias of other editors does not excuse your behavior and namecalling. Gamaliel 21:10, 14 July 2005 (UTC)
