Regarding the edits to Category:BBC newsreaders and journalists. Please note that to add an article to a category, you need edit the actual article rather than the category page itself. At the bottom of the article page, simply create an entry like the one below:

[[Category:BBC newsreaders and journalists|Yates, Alastair]]

Please remember to add the bit after the pipe so the article gets sorted by surname in the category. Thanks. - N (talk) 11:01, 24 December 2005 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Manali, Himachal Pradesh. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites that you are affiliated with, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. -- Lost(talk) 16:21, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
