13241 Biyo is an asteroid named after a Filipino Dr. Josette Biyo, a high school teacher cited for winning the 2002 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Louisville, Kentucky.

This minor planet has been named in her honor being the first Asian teacher to win the "Intel Excellence in Teaching Award" in an international competition held in the United States of America. The one who decided the naming was the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Lincoln, Boston.

It is situated between Mars and Jupiter in the asteroid belt
